The Autobots capture the five Stunticons, who have been out stealing technological goodies. Inspired by a human who mistook them for Autobots, Prime disguises himself and four other Autobots as the Stunticons to find out why Megatron is stealing human technology. Turns out he's using them to build this episode's EI/AD. The EvilInvention/AlienDevice is a focused particle beam, made with perfect lenses and a ruby crystal. Of course, Menasor escapes, fights the Autobots, and almost wins. The Autobots have fixed the EI/AD so that it blows up, and all the Decepticons run in fear. Great episode except for the animation screwups and shortcuts. You can tell, even from a casual glance, that there are fewer frames per second here than in other shows. Perhaps an in-betweener that turned out better than expected. Ratchet is pictured along side three other Autobots human-sized. Also, Menasor appears with a big purple Autobot symbol on his chest. Interesting how Prime chose Autobots to mimic the Stunticons. Of course, he and Motormaster are both Semi-tractors. Jazz mimics DeadEnd, both are Porches. Mirage mimics DragStrip, both are formula race cars. Sideswipe mimics Breakdown, the Lamborghini. THe only exception is Windcharger, a Trans Am, who mimics the Ferarri WildRider. Oh, the things you notice later in life... Toys they should re-issue: Stunticons (in snazzy gold and purple colours) Mirage Ironhide (so what if he's bizarre?) "...beat ya to the rendezvous point!" "Who cares? So beat me..." "Place... small. Want... out!" KKC, who quit his job. And went back. And quit again. And went back again because they've never been able to find a replacement.
