On Charr, the ghost of Starscream posesses Scourge and goes to Unicron asking for a new body. Unicron agrees to reconstitute Starscream in exchange for three labors; a new pair of eyes, a Transform Cog, and connection to Cybertron. In the meantime, the Bots and Cons try in their own ways to figure out what the heck is going on when Metroplex freaks, Trypticon freaks, and things generally screw up. Of course, Starscream double-crosses Unicron, and flies away in his new body, only to be shot by Galvatron again. A better example of the post-movie episodes. Although the animation was below Toei's par, it was adequate for telling an otherwise excellent story. Starscream was the same old jerk he always was, and we see several examples of how noble and forgiving Rodimus Prime was, and how insane and unforgiving Galvatron was. Every notice the credits in the G2 show? At their longest, they're no more than 45 seconds, at their shortest about 25. Today, they had to add more footage from the Constructicon and the Dinobot commercial in there to make time for the extra credits that go along with the post-movie shows. But the point is that this is how they made the shows fit 90's porgram schedules, which call for at least another minute of commercials. They shortened the credits. Toys they should reissue: Trypticon Metroplex Powerglide (used to have him, miss him.) Pretender Starscream (this ep would have been a great excuse for that...) "Decepticon intruder in my brain!!!" (Metrogumby :) "Arielbots, wait for... oh, never mind." "You know, for the strong, silent type, you sure do talk too much." "Since when to ghosts go tumbling out of control in space?" "The love inside... take it with" oops. Wrong ghost show. Sorry. KKC, who's about to get a ton of Actionmasters in the mail. And skipped all his classes this week to go to work.
