The Decepticons continue to suck energy out of the natural phenomena of Dinobot Island, causing temporal warps to appear all over. The Autobots must repel ice age wooly mammoths in Oregon, exploration-age pirate ships in the Atlantic, and golden age cattle rustlers in California. The Dinobots escape the tar pits and begin to round up dinosaurs for an assault, demonstrating very controlled use of their powers. THe other Autobots arrive via jet-pack and are losing the fight until the Dinobots arrive. The Decepticons are driven away, and the Dinobots are allowed to remain at the Ark. My brain isn't working this morning (a sure sign of writer's block) so here are the highlights. A beautiful scene occurs at the end where you see the Autobots flying away from head-on. Also there are some impressive transform animations, including those of Blitzwing, Perceptor, and Megatron, all very close to the actual toy transformation. THe only downside to this episode is the obvious commercial-like attitude they took towards introducing the new Autobots. Toys they should re-issue: Perceptor, in laboratory-grade chrome and black :) Swoop Sludge Sunstreaker Sideswipe Red Alert Any triple changer "I hope his insurance covers elephant damage..." "NO! I saw you perish in the tar pits--" BLAM "You wrong! And you ugly, too." KKC, still waiting for his 19 new transformers and his new Necronomicon to come in the mail. Hope the former isn't too heavy to carry, hope the latter hasn't caused any postmen to go insane... -- Kendrick Kerwin Chua - kendrick@io.com - "Hey man, your bike's on fire."
